Whether your priority is everyday journey recording or a particular installation requirement, describe the outcome before choosing a camera. Front-only, additional camera coverage and parked-vehicle recording depend on the selected equipment and vehicle.

Share any product link or model number you are considering. We will confirm the supported camera and installation options before accepting the job; every advertised feature is not automatically available on every car.

The position, cable routing and power arrangement need to work with the vehicle, not just the camera. We discuss fitment around the windscreen area, trim and existing equipment, with particular attention to how the finished installation will look and be used.

If recording while parked is important, tell us before the camera is specified. The camera, power arrangement and vehicle battery use must be considered together. We can confirm which functions the agreed equipment supports.

Do not assume that hardwiring provides indefinite recording or that every camera includes parking mode. Ask about the equipment’s settings, storage and power requirements as part of the installation brief.

At handover, ask us to explain the agreed functions and where to find the manufacturer’s instructions. Check how footage is accessed, how storage is managed and whether an app or compatible memory card is required.

You remain responsible for using the equipment appropriately and maintaining its settings and storage. A camera is a recording tool, not a promise that every incident will be captured or that a claim will succeed.

Dash-cam supply and fitting is an in-house service. We do not offer parking or reversing-camera installations, speaker/amplifier/subwoofer upgrades, ADAS calibration, key programming or EV electrical/diagnostic and high-voltage work.

Ghost security enquiries use an external specialist route. Other tracker and immobiliser installations are not part of our current workshop offering.

Include the registration, make/model/year, any existing camera and the coverage you want. If you already own equipment, send the exact camera, mounting kit and power-kit details so we can consider suitability before booking.

Most parts are ordered for the job. The agreed workshop-job deposit, lead time and installation arrangements are confirmed before ordering and scheduling.
