Start with the goal

Tell us how you want
the car to feel.

Power is useful only if the drivetrain can transmit it. We consider holding capacity, pedal or shift behaviour, gearing, traction, noise and the condition of surrounding components before specifying upgrades. If you are unsure which stage, part or package applies, that is exactly what the first conversation is for.

Good to know before you book

Clear scope. Helpful answers.

Define the drivetrain scope first

  • Clutches, flywheels, compatible differential upgrades and mounts are considered case by case.
  • Automatic and CVT transmission repair or replacement is not offered by our workshop. Compatible servicing and TCU calibration are separate routes.
  • Supply the exact gearbox, current torque output, intended use and symptoms before components are specified.

Differentials and build planning

  • We offer limited-slip differential supply and fitting, matched to the vehicle and intended use.
  • Clutch, flywheel and drivetrain choices should support the planned torque, tyre grip and driving style.
  • Performance gearbox builds are considered as specific projects with scope agreed first—not a general offer of automatic or DSG rebuilds.
  • Routine automatic, DSG/DCT and CVT work is servicing only; mechatronic/valve-body repairs and torque-converter refurbishment are not currently offered.

The complete route, on your terms.

Every guide is expanded by default so the full scope is visible immediately. Compatibility and outcome still depend on the exact vehicle, software, condition and installed parts.

GUIDE / 01

Components and available routes

The main drivetrain upgrades. options the workshop can assess, source, fit or coordinate.

  • Clutches: organic, paddle and multi-plate applications
  • Flywheels: dual-mass retention or suitable lightweight options
  • Limited-slip differentials: traction-focused mechanical solutions
  • Driveshafts and CV joints: increased-capacity components
  • Gear sets and final drives: specialist application options
  • Mounts and linkages: control of drivetrain movement and selection

What we check before ordering

Fitment and supporting systems are considered before parts and labour are committed.

  • Measured or expected torque at the wheels
  • Gearbox, synchro, bearing, seal and differential condition
  • Pedal effort, noise, vibration and daily-use tolerance
  • Tyres, geometry and electronic traction systems
GUIDE / 03

Choices to make with the team

These decisions turn a broad category into a useful, vehicle-specific specification.

  • Choose usable engagement characteristics as well as capacity
  • Decide whether traction, response or durability is the main goal
  • Plan bedding-in and fluid requirements before handover
GUIDE / 04

Installation and handover

The practical details that protect finish, function and future servicing.

  • Confirm part numbers and supplied contents before dismantling
  • Protect wiring, hoses, trim, paint and nearby components during installation
  • Use suitable fasteners, clips, seals, fluids and torque procedures
  • Function-check the affected systems and investigate unexpected warnings
  • Explain operation, bedding-in, maintenance and sensible follow-up checks

Workshop process

Plenty of explanation. No pressure.

Every vehicle is different, but you should always understand what is being recommended and why.

  1. 01 · Define

We document the vehicle, current specification, intended use and what you want drivetrain upgrades. to change.

  2. 02 · Engineer

Compatible parts, supporting work, lead time, installation detail and legal or insurance implications are checked before authorisation.

  3. 03 · Install

The agreed package is installed, function-checked and handed over with operating, bedding-in and maintenance guidance.

Fit for purpose

Who this route is built for.

The useful question is not simply whether a part or calibration is available. It is whether it supports your car, your driving and the next stage of the build.

IDEAL / USE
  • Owners considering drivetrain upgrades. for a road, fast-road, show, work or specialist vehicle
  • Drivers who want parts selected around a clear outcome rather than an isolated shopping list
  • Projects that need sourcing, professional installation and joined-up workshop advice
CHECK / FIRST
  • Measured or expected torque at the wheels
  • Gearbox, synchro, bearing, seal and differential condition
  • Pedal effort, noise, vibration and daily-use tolerance
  • Tyres, geometry and electronic traction systems

Before you commit

Performance with the whole car in mind.

Power, sound and appearance are only part of a successful result. Reliability, braking, tyres, heat management, servicing, insurance and road use all deserve a place in the conversation.

Do workshop jobs require a deposit?

Torque workshop jobs require a 50% deposit before parts ordering or confirming the work booking. The initial Powerflow assessment remains free and no-obligation. Ask for written payment and cancellation terms before paying; statutory rights are unaffected.

How are changes and progress updates handled?

We telephone you with progress updates and confirm agreed changes to project cost or scope in writing. Photos and progress updates are available on request; specialist work and parts lead times are explained for the individual project.

What is included in the drivetrain upgrades. category?

Clutches: organic, paddle and multi-plate applications; Flywheels: dual-mass retention or suitable lightweight options; Limited-slip differentials: traction-focused mechanical solutions; Driveshafts and CV joints: increased-capacity components; Gear sets and final drives: specialist application options; Mounts and linkages: control of drivetrain movement and selection.

Can Torque Monsta supply the parts?

Yes, subject to vehicle fitment and availability. The team can search the wider performance catalogue, compare appropriate routes and include professional installation in the proposal.

Can you fit parts I already own?

Often, subject to inspection and workshop agreement. Please provide the manufacturer, exact part number, condition and all supplied fittings. Additional labour may apply where parts are incomplete, seized, incorrect or require adaptation.

How do I get an accurate quotation?

Send the registration or VIN, current specification, photographs where helpful, the result you want and your budget or preferred product. Some projects require a workshop inspection before a reliable estimate can be prepared.

Will the modification need other supporting work?

Potentially. Braking, tyres, cooling, fuelling, calibration, alignment, wiring, servicing and drivetrain capacity can all influence the safe sequence. The workshop will identify known dependencies before authorisation.

What about road legality, insurance and warranty?

The exact implications depend on the component and use. Modifications must be declared to the insurer where required, may affect warranty, and must remain compliant for road use and MOT testing.
